When you register, we collect your username, email address, and optionally a profile photo. Submitted articles and their content (text, images) are also stored.

  • To provide and manage your contributor account.
  • To associate submitted articles with your profile.
  • To notify you of changes to your submission status.
3. Image Storage

Profile images and article images are stored securely on Google Cloud Storage (GCS) in a private bucket. Images are only accessible through time-limited, signed URLs generated by our application. No image is publicly accessible by direct URL.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Approved article content is published publicly on this platform as part of its accountability mission.

5. Account Deactivation Policy
Important: When you request account deletion or removal, your account will be deactivated, not permanently deleted. This means:
  • You will be unable to log in.
  • Your submitted content may remain on the platform for public accountability purposes.
  • Your personal details (email, profile image) are retained in our records.
  • You may contact us at sumansarvajeet@gmail.com to request full data erasure, subject to our content retention obligations.
  • Your account can be reactivated upon request.
6. Cookies

We use session cookies solely to maintain your login state. No third-party tracking cookies are used.

7. Security

Passwords are stored using BCrypt hashing. Images are protected via Google Cloud Storage access controls. We do not store passwords in plain text.

8. Your Rights

You may update your email and profile photo at any time from your profile page. To request data erasure or account reactivation, contact sumansarvajeet@gmail.com.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via the platform.
